Yi-Lien Hsu - Flutist
 

Yilien Hsu, a native of Taiwan, has performed solo recitals, chamber music and in orchestras around the U.S., and Taiwan National Concert Hall. She enjoys as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher. Started playing the flute at the age of 12 and graduated from Fu-jen university in Taipei, Taiwan, she continued her musical training in the USA. She received her M.A. degree from Aaron Copland School of music at Queens College. Now she is a doctoral candidate at Graduate Center of City University of New York. Her principle teachers include Linda Lukas, Keith Underwood, Judith Mendenhall and Samuel Baron.
