Born in Taiwan, JudyWang studied at the University of Texas in
Austin where she completed her Master's Degree in performance
studying under Karl Kraber.
She formerly taught flute in the Bach Music School, is presently
a teacher in local private music schools, and helps students prepare
for their orchestra and college auditions.
Judy Wang has performed both as a soloist and principal flutist
with orchestras and wind ensembles. She was the principal flutist
in the University of Texas Symphony Orchestra from 1997 to 1999,
and was part of the University's Wind Ensemble when it played
in Carnegie Hall. She was also a guest soloist with the National
Taiwan University Wind Ensemble during their Fine Art Festival
in l995, and was the principal flutist in the Taipei Wesleyan
Chamber Orchestra for three years.
Judy Wang, who now resides in Cupertino, California, has given
many recitals in Taiwan and Austin, Texas.
