Chung-Ta Lee - Violinist
 

Violinist Chung-Da Lee began studying the violin at age six with Mr. Yuan-Che Lu. As an amateur player, Mr. Lee actively participated in various music activities, mostly with orchestras and chamber music groups. He appeared as the Concertmaster and soloist in National Taiwan University Symphony Orchestra and Chien-Kuo High School String Orchestra. During his two-year military service in Taiwan, Mr. Lee was the Assistant Concertmaster in Ministry of National Defense Orchestra, often played in formal diplomatic occasions, including the presidential inauguration banquet in 1996. After moving to the Bay Area in 1997, Mr. Lee played with Stanford Symphony Orchestra, Redwood Symphony Orchestra and Foothill Orchestra. He also held a piano trio recital at Santa Clara University last year, with pianist Sophia Chuang and cellist Ming-Wen Lee.

Mr. Lee received his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He is now a hardware design engineer at Divio Inc., specialized in digital video compression technology.
