Biography for Linda Wood Rollo
 

Linda Wood Rollo is a member of the Board of Directors of the World Harp Congress and served as Editor of the World Harp Congress Review from 1984 to 2002. She is also Vice-President of the board of Trustees of the USA international Harp Competition and Chairman of the Board of the American Harp Society.

Linda has taught harp on the faculties of Indian University, The Ursuline School of Music and Drama, San Francisco State University, Dominican College and San Dominico School for Girls. Linda holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Redlands and a Master of Music degree from the University of Southern California (USC). She is member of ASCAP, Sigma Alpha Iota, the American Harp Society and the World Harp Congress.

Her numerous honors and awards include the World Harp Congress Award of Recognition for Service to the International Harp Community (2002), the Distinguished Alumni Award (Univ. of Redlands, 1987), the Adolf Kodolfsky Performance Grant (USC-1969), Pi Kappa Lambda (USC-1970), the Redlands Bowl Young Artists' Competition First Prize (19687), the Gladys Turk Foundation Grant (1968, 69), and he Bank of America Fine Arts Award (1963).

She has published over 15 volumes of music and teaching materials for the harp and is co-owner and publisher of Music Works-Harp Editions with Susann McDonald.
